Case Study | Taste of Spain

In 2009 the Regent Street Association came to Wilde Ones needing production management for the A Taste of Spain event - just three weeks before show day.

Pulling an event together in three weeks was a daunting and intense task, but ultimately a very rewarding accomplishment.

A Taste of Spain was a fixture in the calendar on Regent Street and Wilde Ones built on its solid foundation in the years after 2009.

The Right Mix

Different areas of Spain showcased their specific culture, with flamenco dancing and food displays some of the highlights.

Wilde Ones set out the content on the street to create a coherent user experience whilst maintaining crowd flows and emergency routes.

How each event is laid out is very important and is not to be taken lightly - it's one of the starting blocks of a successful event.

Wilde Ones' delivery of the 2009 event gained high praise from the then head of the Regent Street Association.

“It is truly the most organised event we have ever had in the street and that is entirely down to you and your team – who incidentally I thought were lovely. Excellent.” Annie Walker, The Regent Street Association

Since 2009, Wilde Ones has had greater scope to improve the overall planning process and event production, and has raised the bar on Regent Street events in the subsequent years.
