Site Surveys

Advances in surveying technology and mapping software enables us to make bespoke site maps with pin-point accuracy.

Be it a new event location map or simply wanting a clearer representation of a tried and tested event site, we can get the reality of the landscape into a digital format.

Having the precise site information (roads, paths, trees, infrastructure, gradients, etc) makes it easier to evolve ideas in the planning phase and also minimises delays in the build.

The practical experience of our CAD team ensures that maps are easily readable by all those working on the project.

An accurate site survey enables day one of the build to begin with a clear plan that the whole team can have confidence in.

Site Survey Process Explained

After confirming the brief and assessing any available maps, we visit the event site to do a full survey.

Using GPS surveying hardware, we make sure any current maps are up to date and collect any new information about the site.

Once all new information is on file we begin the design process using the most up-to-date CAD design software.

Dependent on different viewer requirements, bespoke map views of specific areas on site can be produced.

In addition, we can also offer advice on best approaches to access routes, managing crowd flow, stage orientation and overall site lay out.

Maps developed in collaboration with our clients make sure that information is displayed effectively for all the required uses.
